"Obviously going to the next level, he is going to have to adjust, but I am certain he'll be a big impact player at West Virginia," said Berdis. "He's big, fast and strong. I would be surprised if he didn't contribute right away. He's that good."

"I've never seen a kid with more potential," said Berdis. "He's a big kid, but there's not any fat on him; he's really firm. He was double teamed in almost every game this year, but he still managed to be the best player on the field in every game." … also recruited by Missouri, Louisville and Michigan State, but West Virginia made an early offer, Keilen visited WVU over the summer with his father and quickly committed … will enroll in general studies … son of Jewell and James Dykes.

What Rich Rodriguez says: "Keilen is a big defensive lineman who we got a commitment from early. We had him in camp. He's a big guy who can run, and he's going to have a great career at West Virginia. We think he's one of the better defensive ends in Ohio."

What Herb Hand says: "Keilen Dykes from a physical standpoint is exactly what you're looking for. He's tall with long arms, has a great physique on him already. He's a guy we had in camp and really liked what we saw. Physically he's what you want, and he's also got a great motor. We're looking forward to his arrival."
