West Virginia Splits With Old Dominion In Saturday Doubleheader

MORGANTOWN W.Va - West Virginia split a doubleheader with Old Dominion on Saturday, winning the nightcap 6-5 after dropping the opener 5-4. The split gave the Mountaineers a 2-1 series win after they took the first game on Friday night.

He discusses how his team reacted to the unexpected doubleheader, which was set after the prediction of bad weather forced a move of Sunday's game. The first loss of the day was a tough one, but his players persevered to get a 6-5 win in game two in the 12th inning. 

Here, WVU shortstop Jimmy Galusky comments on the kind of pitches he was looking for in that second game, and the frustrations he felt when the critical hits weren't coming his way. He had the game-winning hit in the 12th inning; a two-run single that gave the Mountaineers the come from behind win.
