West Virginia University 2016 Coliseum Renovations

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. - If there's one theme to West Virginia's still-in-progess renovations to the WVU Coliseum, it's space.

As in, the addition of space. From the entry gates to the concourses to the concession stands, space and more space highlights the new look, which fans will see, at least in a mostly-realized form, on Friday night when the Mountaineers open the season against Mount St. Mary. Congestion in the concourse, both before games and at halftime, was a major problem, but by the time the renovations are finished that issue should be greatly alleviated.

Included in the renovations are an increase in restrooms from 62 to 155, 24 new concessions points of sale (including beer), and update graphics, signage and color throughout the concourse.
