A Look Inside Tuesday's Spring Practice

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - West Virginia went through its normal gauntlet of drills at the beginning of Tuesday's practice.

In the video at the top of the page, Joe Wickline works with the offensive line on their initial steps and form when the ball is snapped. There are no changes from the first group that Wickline has rolled out in other practices (McKivitz, Bosch, Jones, Lingafelter, Sills). Judging by Dana Holgorsen's comments before practice, it sounds as if Jones has opened up a big lead in the competition for the starting center spot.

In this drill Mark Scott works with West Virginia's linebackers on fitting up blockers, getting off the block and pursuing a skill position player. Seen above are Al-Rasheed Benton and David Long among others.

Bruce Tall works with defensive linemen on performing a rip move when stunting inside. Tall seemed pleased with the fundamentals and effort of true sophomore Reese Donahue throughout the drill.
