"In looking at the different teams in the BIG EAST and the players each team has returning, the league will be just as strong if not stronger than last year," said WVU coach John Beilein in a prepared statement. "We found out last year in February what a tough league the BIG EAST is."
WVU will face every Big East team once in 2003-04 and three teams (Villanova, Virginia Tech and St. John's) twice.
The date for the Marshall game has not been finalized, although it has been narrowed down to two dates.
Game times, as usual, will not be announced until next month due to television considerations.
