Players of the Game - Rutgers

A pair of senior leaders are our picks for players of the game in WVU's 34-19 win over Rutgers.

On defense, Grant Wiley turned in his usual excellent performance as the leader of the Mountaineer team. He was credited with six tackles, and had a one handed interception to set up WVU's first field goal and a 10-0 lead.

Wiley also had two pass deflections, including one that prevented a Rutgers touchdown.

Quincy Wilson
On offense, Quincy Wilson's battering running style earned him the nod as our offensive selection over wide receiver Chris Henry.

Wilson gained 177 tough yards on 40 carries, and scored three touchdowns on the afternoon.

"I've never carried the ball that much, but I'm not really tired," Wilson said after the game. "When you get into the flow of the game, you don't really notice it.
