Women's Hoop Projections Mirror Men's

Projects for West Virginia's women's basketball team were almost a carbon copy of the men's picks one day ago.

The Mountaineer women were picked eighth in the fourteen team Big East, one spot higher than the men's squad. WVU, with 80 points in the preseason poll, trailed number seven Villanova by 23 points.

UConn, unsurprisingly, was again the unanimous pick to win the league.

Also, just like the men's team, WVU failed to place any players on the two deep all-league team.
