Players of the Game - UCF

Youngsters make up our selections for players of the game against Central Florida.

Bandit Mike Lorello was one of many defensive standouts in West Virginia's 36-18 win over Central Florida on Saturday.

The true sophomore was a major factor in West Virginia's play against the pass and the run. He provided solid support against the Golden Knights' ground game, and was also effective at covering many of UCF's short and medium passing routes. Lorello was credited with 10 tackles on the day, including six solo stops.

Chris Henry
On offense, wide receiver Chris Henry provided West Virginia's passing game with much of its punch, and also provided the final nail in UCF's coffin with another long touchdown reception.

Henry had five receptions, which were good for 123 or WVU's 161 yards through the air. His fourth quarter 79-yard touchdown reception with 9:50 to go in the game gave the Mountaineers a 22 point lead and finally ended any UCF hopes of an upset.
