Junior forward Tyrone Sally recorded a double double to help West Virginia knock of Georgetown on saturday afternoon at the WVU Coliseum.
Sally, playing 38 minutes in the contest, scored ten points and grabbed 11 big rebounds in WVU's 62-58 conference win over the Hoyas. Sally, playing with more intensity, hit two of his five shots from the field and added six points form the free throw line.
Sally was a major factor on the defensive end for the Mountaineers, snaring nine rebounds on that end of the floor and helping to disrupt the Hoya offense from his position in WVU's 1-3-1 defense.
Sally added two assists, a steal and a block to his line as West Virginia moved to 1-1 in the Big East Conference.
