Check Your Clocks!

No, this isn't a belated call to set your clocks back to Standard Time. Rather, it's just a quick timecheck on Mountaineer sporting events for the next couple of weeks.

First, the WVU-Rutgers football game will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3rd. ESPN had been listing that game as an ESPN Regional TV game, which would have meant a different starting time, but that listing was recently removed. So, the kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. with an MSN tape delay broadcast.

To allow fans time to get to the Coliseum from Mountaineer field, the tipoff for the men's basketball exhibition game with New Zealand Select has been moved back an hour to 6:00 p.m. on November 3rd.

An opponent change will also reportedly be made for WVU's second exhibition basketball game. The original opponent, EA Sports, will not field a team due to security concerns. A European team may be the replacement for the second game, which is scheduled for November 9th.

Finally, the Syracuse football game has been selected for an ESPN Regional showing, with the gametime set for noon at the Carrier Dome on November 10th.
