Women Get At-Large Bid

West Virginia's women's basketball team grabbed at at-large bid to the NCAA tournament on Sunday evening, but drew a difficult assignment, facing a foe on their home court.

The 21-10 Mountaineers will face #6 seed Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, March 20. The Buckeyes, 20-9 on the season, lost to Purdue in the semifinals of the Big Ten tournament.

Ohio State was rated #22 in the final regular season women's poll, and finished third in the Big Ten behind Penn State and Purdue with an 11-5 conference record.

The game is part of the Mideast region. Should WVU win, they will face the winner of the Boston College - Eastern Michigan game on Monday, March 22.
