Defensive specialist Cecil Doggette is in his tenth year in the league. Doggette, who has twice earned all-league honors, has 16 solo and 16 assisted tackles to go along with eight pass breakups for the Grand Rapids Rampage this season. Doggette is in his second year with the Rampage and has led the team he's played for in tackles the last six seasons.
Joining Doggette on the rampage is wide receiver/linebacker Shawn Foreman. Foreman has 18 catches for 206 yards and five scores, and has three solo and four assisted tackles on defense.
Placekicker Jay Taylor is booting the ball for the Orlando Predators. He's made five of his ten field goal attempts and is 38-43 on extra points, which puts him second on the team with 53 points.
Two former Mountaineers are on the roster of the Tampa Bay Storm. Fullback linebacker Basil Proctor has seven carries for eight yards and one touchdown, and two receptions for 14 yards as a fullback, while wide receiver David Saunders recently returned from injured reserve to catch a touchdown pass in last week's game. Saunders has 16 catches for 132 yards on the season, and also handled kickoff duties after the Storm's kicker was injured in their last contest.
Wide receiver Khori Ivy was set to play an important role with the Detroit Fury this year, but sustained an ACL tear during preseason. Ivy is now on the injured reserve list. Fullback linebacker Wes Ours is also on IR with the Los Angeles Avengers.
Nate Terry and Antwan Lake are on the exempt lists of the Los Angeles Avengers and Orlando Predators, respectively.
