WVU alumnus Kate Bulger made her professional debut with the Minnesota Lynx on Wednesday evening.
Bulger got ten minutes of playing time in the Lynx' exhibition opener against the Sacramento Monarchs. She took four shots, all three-pointers, and made one. The 5-11 guard also grabbed two rebounds and recorded one assist as the Lynx took home a 78-60 win.
Bulger is one of seven rookies trying to make the Lynx roster. One of her competitors is Boston College graduate Amber Jacobs.
Minnesota has two more preseason games scheduled, including a May 15 gaime against Detroit in Bulger's hometown of Pittsubrgh.
