North Carolina QB Draws Interest

A quarterback familiar with the spread offense has drawn interest from West Virginia.

Quarterback Cameron Sexton, whose Scotland (Laurinburg, N. C.) High School runs the spread offense, is getting interest from the Mountaineers.

Sexton received a phone call from West Virginia last week, and has sent film to the WVU staff. An offer has not been made yet.

Sexton has a busy summer camp schedule, but allows that he could fit WVU into his slate if the timing is right. He is already committed to attending camps at Clemson, North Carolina State and Florida State.

As a junior, Sexton threw for 1742 yards. He tossed 17 touchdowns against just five interceptions. He also had five scores on the ground.
