Two Mountaineers On Maxwell Award Watch List

West Virginia has placed two players on the watch list for the 2004 Maxwell Award.

Senior quarterback Rasheed Marshall and junior wide receiver Chris Henry are among the 41 players listed by the Maxwell Football Club as players to watch for the Maxwell Award.

The award is presented by the club to the college player of the year, and is named in honor of Robert W. Maxwell, who excelled as a player, official and sportswriter in the early part of the 20th century before succumbing to injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Members of the club, college coaches, and journalists vote on the award, which will be presented for the 68th time this year.
