Report: Elmassian to Leave

Sources close to the West Virginia football program have told BlueGoldNews.com that defensive coordinator Phil Elmassian is leaving the program.

Elmassian, who has had a well-travelled career, could already be headed to another program. Sources indicate that either Wisconsin or Georgia Tech, which just lost head coach George O'Leary to Notre Dame, could be possible destinations.

One of the front-runners for the Georgia Tech job is apparently Virginia Tech defensive coordinator Bud Foster, who served as an understudy of Elmassian's in Blacksburg.

BlueGoldNews.com will have more on this story as it develops.
