Aaron Beasley Def. Back
Class of 1995
Aaron saw plenty of playing time in Atlanta's nickel coverage. He recorded e tackles and two pass defenses in the 21-19 win at San Francisco. The game's defining play came with less than 10 minutes to play and Atlanta clinging to a 14-6 lead. With San Francisco driving, Beasley picked off a Tim Rattay pass at the one yard line and scampered 85 yards to the 49ers' 14. Three plays later, Warrick Dunn found the endzone from 9 yards out to push the lead to 21-6. The Falcons (1-0) host the St. Louis Rams (1-0) this week.

Anthony Becht Tight End
Class of 1999
Anthony started for the Jets in their 31-24 win over the Bengals Sunday. While the Jets didn't get Becht involved in the passing game, he and the offensive line cleared the way for 219 rushing yards, mostly by Curtis Martin. The Jets (1-0) travel to San Diego this week.

Class of 1993
Rich started at center as the Bengals rushed for 113 yards in their 31-24 loss at the Jets. The offensive line yielded only one sack of Carson Palmer in the contest. The Bengals (0-1) will host Miami (0-1) this week.

Antonio has been released from the Bills and has not been picked off of waivers as of yet.

Class of 1995
John started at nose tackle and recorded 2 tackles on the night in the Chiefs 34-24 loss to the Broncos Sunday night. The Chiefs gave up 202 rushing yards in the game. Kansas City (0-1) will host the Panthers (0-1) this week.

Marc Bulger Quarterback
Class of 1999
Marc welcomed back Orland Pace to protect his blind side in the Rams 17-10 win over the Cardinals. The Rams offensive line protected well and did not give up a sack as Bulger went 23/34 for 272 yards. He had 1 touchdown pass and 1 interception. The 8-yard touchdown pass to Isaac Bruce capped a 5-play, 80-yard drive spanning the 3rd and 4th quarters. The drive erased a 10-9 deficit and put the Rams up for good at 17-10. St. Louis (1-0) will travel to Atlanta (1-0) this week.

Barrett started at linebacker and recorded 5 tackles, but the Giants were easily beaten by the Philadelphia Eagles, 31-17. The Giants defense gave up 471 yards of total offense, including 330 through the air. New York (0-1) will play the Redskins (1-0) this weekend in another division battle.

Brian has been diagnosed with a herniated disk in his back, and is rehabilitating the injury at the Panthers' practice facility.

Antwan record 1 tackle in a reserve role for the Falcons Sunday. Atlanta (1-0) beat the 49ers 21-19 and will host the Rams (1-0) this weekend.

Class of 1996
Mike saw reserve action at safety and was quite active in the Steelers 24-21 win over the Raiders. Logan recorded 4 tackles including one on special teams and also forced a fumble. Pittsburgh's secondary quietly gave up 305 yards passing to Rich Gannon and company, but also forced the veteran into 2 interceptions and 3 fumbles. The Steelers (1-0) will travel to Baltimore (0-1) this week.

Todd had his usual productive night for Panthers in their 24-14 loss to the Packers on Monday Night Football. Sauerbrun had 5 punts for an average of 43.4 yards. This included 3 kicks that pinned the Packers inside their 20. The two kicks that weren't placement kicks averaged 50.5 yards. Carolina (0-1) will travel to Kansas City (0-1) for another tough contest this week.

Gary's only dent on the stat column was assisting on a special teams tackle in the Chiefs 34-24 loss at Denver. The Chiefs (0-1) will try to get back on track at home this week against the Panthers (0-1).

John started at defensive tackle for the Bengals and recorded 3 tackles in the 31-24 loss at the Jets. New York got the better of the Bengals front line rushing for 219 yards. Cincinnati (0-1) will play the Dolphins (0-1) this weekend.

Mike Vanderjagt Kicker
Class of 1992
Mike went 1 for 2 on field goals and made both extra points in the Colts 24-21 loss Thursday night at New England. Mike's 32-yarder knotted the game at 3-3 early in the 2nd quarter. With the Colts driving for a potential tying field goal late in the game, Peyton Manning took a 12 yard sack on 3rd and 8, forcing Indianapolis to attempt a 48-yarder. Vanderjagt pushed the kick to the right as the Patriots escaped with the win. The Colts (0-1) will travel to Tennessee for their 2nd consecutive tough road game to begin the season.

Wiley is awaiting a six-week checkup following his shoulder surgery. If his progress is good, he will return to Minnesota to begin rehabilitation.
