"We are pleased to add satellite radio, and I think it will be a great service for our fans. Between our statewide lineup of affiliates, Internet coverage and now national satellite radio, truly a Mountaineer fan can be anywhere in the world and not miss a game," WVU deputy director of athletics Mike Parsons says. "The coverage and clarity of satellite radio is outstanding and will be a plus for our fans, especially for those, who are out of state."
West Virginia joins a prominent list of schools on Sirius and becomes the second Big East school on the satellite network. The West Virginia at Virginia Tech football game on Saturday will be carried on Sirius satellite channel 144. Air time for MSN radio will be 11:30 a.m. with "The Mountaineers Today."
