Conference Honors

WVU quarterback Rasheed Marshall nabbed his second Big East offensive player of the week award following his performance against UConn.

Marshall, a 6-1 senior from Pittsburgh, Pa., passed for 138 yards and rushed for 110 more in the Mountaineer's 31-19 win at UConn. He completed 12-of-20 passes and threw for one touchdown. Marshall became the first WVU quarterback to gain more than 100 yards rushing in a game since Major Harris in 1989.

Marshall was also the conference offensive player of the week for his performance in WVU's win over Central Florida. His selection is the sixth time a Mountaineer has been honored by the conference this season.
