Marshall was also the conference offensive player of the week for his performance in WVU's win over Central Florida. His selection is the sixth time a Mountaineer has been honored by the conference this season.
Marshall, a 6-1 senior from Pittsburgh, Pa., passed for 138 yards and rushed for 110 more in the Mountaineer's 31-19 win at UConn. He completed 12-of-20 passes and threw for one touchdown. Marshall became the first WVU quarterback to gain more than 100 yards rushing in a game since Major Harris in 1989.
