Another Award for PacMan

WVU defensive back Adam "PacMan" Jones has continued the Mountaineer string of conference honors by sharing the Big East's defensive player of the week award for his performance against Syracuse.

Jones, a 5-11 junior cornerback from College Park, Ga., recorded six solo tackles and one assist in West Virginia's 27-6 win over Syracuse. Two of his tackles resulted in losses of 12 yards. He also notched his first career sack to snuff a late Syracuse drive.

Althouhh head coach Rich Rodriguez noted that Jones did not have his best game against the Orange, Jones was a key component of a Mountaineer defense that yielded only 66 yards rushing to the Orange.
