Another Mountaineer made it back to the NFL this week, while headliner Marc Bulger had another outstanding performance.

Aaron Beasley Defensive Back
Class of 1995
The Falcons secondary held Brian Griese and Tampa Bay to just 174 yards passing in the 24-14 win. Aaron was limited in action. For the season, the Falcons are 30th in the NFL at stopping the pass.

Anthony Becht Tight End
Class of 1999
The Jets struggled with Chad Pennington out, managing 150 yards on the ground, but losing 20-17 to Baltimore in overtime. Anthony had no receptions, but helped lead the 5th rated rushing attack in the NFL. He also recorded a tackle on special teams.

Rich Braham Offensive Lineman
Class of 1993
The Bengals offensive line paved the way for another 100+ yard rushing game for Rudi Johnson and gave up no sacks of Carson Palmer in a 17-10 win over the Redskins. Rich was active as the starting center, recording a tackle on an interception return in addition to manning the line.

Antonio was still inactive in the Redskins 17-10 loss to the Bengals.

John Browning Defensive Lineman
Class of 1995
John again played a reserve role recording 2 tackles in the Chiefs 27-20 loss to the Saints. In the game, Deuce McAllister rushed for 127 yards on only 16 carries against the Kansas City front line.

Marc Bulger Quarterback
Class of 1999
Marc went over the 2500-yard mark for the season, going 23 of 34 for 262 yards in the Rams 20-12 win over Seattle in an important divisional game. Bulger was a white hot 5/6 for 71 yards and a 15 yard touchdown strike to Kevin Curtis on the Rams opening drive. St. Louis continues to prove that the key to winning is protecting the quarterback, allowing only 1 sack in the game.

Mike Compton Offensive Lineman
Class of 1992
Jacksonville rushed all over Detroit for 239 yards in their 23-17 win. Playing without injured Byron Leftwich, the Jags relied on Fred Taylor and the running game, which nows ranks just 20th in the NFL.

James recorded 5 tackles and a half sack, but it wasn't enough as the Lions fell 23-17 to Jacksonville. Despite two Eddie Drummond punt returns for touchdowns, the Jags rushing game was too much, even for the 13th rated defense in the NFL.

Lance Frazier Cornerback

Lance had a rough 2nd start, fumbling twice on punts in the first half of a 49-21 Dallas loss to Philadelphia. Lance muffed and recovered the first punt he received. He outright fumbled the 2nd punt which was recovered by the Eagles. Lance recorded two first half tackles, before playing sparingly in the 2nd half. The Cowboys secondary was torched by Donovan McNabb and T.O. for 345 yards.

Barrett was again inactive in the Giants 17-14 loss to Arizona. The Giants will make the switch to Eli Manning at quarterback in this week's contest.

Antwan recorded his 3rd tackle of the year as the Falcons front line held the Bucs to only 68 yards on the ground. The Falcons how have the 4th rated rush defense in the NFL after the 24-14 win.

Todd Sauerbrun Punter
Class of 1994
Todd had a standout performance for the Panthers in their come-from-behind 37-27 win over the 49ers. In addition to punting 3 times for a 49.3 average, Sauerbrun handled kicking duties after John Kasay went down with an ankle injury. Todd was 4/4 on PATs, and even booted a 34 yard field goal late in the 4th to put Carolina on top 30-27.
