Ohio Receiver Has WVU Atop List

One of the primary attributes of a dependable wide receiver is good hands, and this Ohio pass catcher, who has West Virginia high on his list of favorite schools, is noted for his dexterity in catching the ball.

Mike Chambers of Walsh Jesuit High School in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, is the type of big target with sure hands that should flourish in a spread passing attack.

"My hands are definitely my biggest strength," the 6-2, 205-pound senior told BlueGoldNews.com. "I catch the ball well, and I am evasive after I catch it."

Chambers has offers from West Virginia, Wisconsin and "all of the MAC schools", but one school has a slight edge for his services.

"I'm leaning toward West Virginia. They offered me early in my junior year, and I came over for the James Madison game this year."

Along with WVU, Chambers lists Wisconsin, Miami of Ohio and Bowling Green as his favorites. He has not yet set any official visits, but plans to do so in December. The 6-2, 205-pounder ran a 4.52 at Michigan's football camp over the summer, and should have no trouble qualifying. He has not yet set a timetable for making a commitment.
