Aaron played a reserve role, but did not get onto the stat sheet in a 27-0 loss to the Bucs. On the season, the Falcons have the 25th rated pass defense in the league.

Anthony Becht Tight End
Class of 1999
Enjoying the return of Chad Pennington, the Jets beat the Texans 29-7. Again, the third rated rush offense put up huge numbers, with over 200 yards rushing. Anthony caught a two-yard pass late in the game for a touchdown, putting New York up 26-7.

Cincinnati got a big win over Baltimore despite rushing for only 98 yards. The pass protection held up while Carson Palmer passed for 382 yards in the 27-26 win over the Ravens.

Kansas City came from behind to beat Oakland 34-27. In the game John recorded two tackles as the Kansas City front held Oakland to a measly 30 yards rushing on 10 carries. The Chiefs improved to 15th in the NFL against the run.

Marc Bulger Quarterback
Class of 1999
Marc got banged up after a Bryant Young sack, and played less than a quarter in a Rams' 16-6 win over San Francisco. Before leaving, Marc was 3-4 for 22 yards, and also had a 9-yard carry. Marc has been ruled out for this weekend's game at Carolina and may be out a few weeks with a bone bruise and sprained shoulder.

Jacksonville managed 100 yards rushing against the Steelers tough defense, but it wasn't enough as Pittsburgh came from behind to win 17-16. The Jags had just 2.9 yards per carry in the loss.

James had four tackles in a 26-12 win over the Cardinals. The Lions defense held Arizona to 94 yards rushing, and just over 260 yards of total offense. They also forced four turnovers in the victory.

Lance Frazier Cornerback

Starting again at corner, Lance recorded three tackles in a 43-39 shootout with the Seahawks. The Cowboys secondary was lit up for over 400 yards passing by Matt Hasselbeck, but the offense came through in the clutch. Frazier also returned a punt for 12 yards in the first half.

New York's defense became the first this year to give up more than 20 points to the Redskins in a 31-7 loss. Washington ran for more than 200 yards against the Giants, who have the 26th-rated rush defense in the league.

Todd punted just three times for a 43.7 average in a 32-21 win over the Saints. He pinned one kick inside the 20 and booted a 56-yarder. Sauerbrun also handled the first two kickoffs before recently-injured John Kasay resumed those duties.

Class of 1998
Gary was very active in Kansas City's 34-27 win over the Raiders. He had two tackles, two special teams tackles, and a sack of Kerry Collins. Gary's sack came on 2nd and 10 with Oakland at their 46 in the fourth quarter looking for the game-tying drive.

Jay Taylor Kicker
Class of 1999
Jay made his NFL debut and made a lasting impression for the Bucs. His first attempt was a 50-yarder that split the uprights to give the Bucs an early lead. Taylor went on to hit a 30-yard field goal and connect on three PATs in a 27-0 win over the Falcons. Jay also handled kickoff duties, booting the ball to the 11-yard line on average.

The Bengals, 31st in the NFL against the run, gave up 192 yards, but the offense put up enough points to beat Baltimore 27-26. John assisted on two tackles in the game.

Mike Vanderjagt Kicker
Class of 1992
Mike connected on three field goals, the first time he's done that this season. The Colts again racked up the points, beating the Titans 51-24. Vanderjagt connected from 47, 20, and 37 yards and hit all six of his PATs. Despite being last in the AFC in field goals, Mike is still sixth in kicker scoring due to Indianapolis' high-powered offense.

Wiley continues to rehabilitate his surgically-repaired shoulder in Minnesota. He expects to be ready to compete for a roster spot with the Vikings again next year.

Amos actually led the Raiders in rushing, carrying the ball 4 times for 15 yards in Oakland's 34-27 loss to Kansas City. He also caught two passes for 18 yards. The Raiders are currently dead last in the NFL in rushing with 71.6 yards per game. Seventeen running backs in the NFL currently average more than the Raiders do as a team.
