Several Mountaineer alums had good outings over the holiday weekend.

Aaron Beasley Defensive Back
Class of 1995
Aaron recorded a tackle, had one interception and deflected another pass in Atlanta's 26-13 loss to New Orleans. The Falcons' secondary limited New Orleans to 227 yards through the air.

Class of 1999
Anthony had no catches and the Jets offensive line had a miserable outing, gaining just 46 yards on the ground in a 23-7 loss to New England.

Antonio Brown Wide Receiver
Class of 2001
In a game featuring two WVU punt returners, Antonio returned four punts for 59 yards (14.8 ypr), including a long of 39 that set up Washington's first field goal. The Redskins dropped the game 13-10 to Dallas. Unfortunately Antonio also fumbled a punt return late in the game. It should be noted that Lance Frazier also fumbled a punt in his second game, and has gone on to have a great season.

John Browning Defensive Lineman
Class of 1995
John recorded two tackles in a game where Kansas City gave up 100 yards rushing to the Raiders. However, the Chiefs came out on top in a squeaker, 31-30.

Marc Bulger Quarterback
Class of 1999
In his first game since hurting his shoulder, Marc returned to throw a touchdown pass in the Rams' 20-7 win over an Eagles team that played like it was the preseason. Bulger was 20-27 for 225 yards with a seven-yard strike to Isaac Bruce.

The Jaguars' offense was in shambles in a 21-0 loss to the Texans. Jacksonville managed only 149 yards of total offense, which included 95 yards rushing, and allowed three sacks on just 21 pass attempts.

For the second straight game, James recorded eight tackles, leading the Lions defense in a 19-13 win over the Bears. Davis also defended a pass in a game where Detroit's D held Chicago to 238 yards in total offense.

Class of 1992
Mike was pivotal in the Colts' 34-31 overtime win against the Chargers. Vanderjagt connected on four of five field goals, missing only from 47 yards out. His 30-yarder cinched the game in which Peyton Manning broke Dan Marino's single-season touchdown passing record.
