D'or Fischer was dominant in the lane in WVU's losing effort against Marshall.
WVU's 6-10 senior center hit 8 of his 14 shots from the field on his way to 20 points, but it wasn't enough to propel the Mountaineers to victory against the hot-shooting Herd. Marshall did not have a defensive answer for Fischer, but in the end he didn't get enough chances to pull out the victory.
D'or was just as dominant on the defensive interior, holding Mark Patton and LaVar Carter to a combined four points on 2-10 shooting. He was credited with only two blocks, but most observers agreed he had at least four or five on the evening.
Fischer just missed a double-double, snaring nine rebounds , again good for team high honors.
