Football Weekend Visits Scheduled

With less than three weeks to go until signing day, West Virginia has approximately twenty official visits left over the next three weekends.

This weekend, seven players, many linebackers and offensive linemen, are scheduled to be in Morgantown to check out the Mountaineer program.

Among the linebackers are Robert Russell of L.B. Landry High in New Orleans, Archie Sims of West Jones High in Laurel, Miss., and Ernest Williams of Monessen High in Monessen, Penn.

Offensive linemen on the trip are Greg Isdaner of The Episcopal Academy in Merion, Penn., and John Bachman of Moon High in Coraopolis, Penn.

The sixth visitor is safety Quinton Andrews of Pace High in Miami, and the seventh is Greg Boone, a big quarterback from Oscar Smith High In Chesapeake, Va. Boone also projects to several other positions in college, making him a very intriguing prospect.

West Virginia figures to sign at least two more linebackers and offensive linemen in this year's class, and could round out the group with additional running backs, wide receivers, and a safety.
