Wrestlers Take Border Battle

West Virginia started off strongly and buried the Virginia Cavaliers 44-3 in wrestling Friday evening at the WVU Coliseum.

WVU was led by heavyweight Ryan Kehler, who recorded his 23rd career pin over Josh Etu. Kelher needs but one more pin to tie the alltime WVU mark of 24.

The Mountaineers won every weight class except 157, where ninth ranked Joe Carr was upset by Tim Foley.

WVU is in action again on Sturday at the Coliseum against Buffalo at 5:00 p.m.
