Final Two for PA Star

Easton Area's Ovid Goulbourne has narrowed his choices to two schools.

"It's down to West Virginia and Connecticut," Ovid Goulbourne said on Sunday evening. "I haven't visited anyone else since I visited West Virginia, but I'm going to UConn this coming weekend. Both of those schools have offered me, and it's down to them."

While Goulbourne has received interest from a number of schools, including Indiana, Boston College and Pittsburgh, UConn and WVU have both been with him since the beginning of the recruiting process, and have earned their way to the final stage of the process.

Goulbourne didn't name a leader at this point in the process, saying that he wanted to visit UConn before making his final decision.

"I can't say, because I haven't visited UConn yet," the thoughtful Goulbourne said when asked what he would base his final decision on. "I want to compare and contrast the two schools, so I need to go there before I can do that."

With signing day fast approaching, Goulbourne said he will make his decision once he returns from his final official visit.
