Robinson Commits To WVU; QB Also Reportedly In

West Virginia has received a verbal commitment from junior college wide receiver Durrell Robinson. Also, the Miami Herald has reported that quarterback/athlete Dwayne Thompson will play at West Virginia.

Robinson, who still has to graduate from Northwest Mississippi junior college to become eligible, is one of the top juco wide receivers in the country.

Robinson adds to the already impressive haul of wide receivers who have verbally committed to play at West Virginia. At 6-2 and 205 pounds, Robinson has the size and strength to be the go-to guy in the spread offense.

Thompson, who hails from Killian High School in Miami, is a quarterback who could also play other positions. He visited the WVU campus on the weekend of January 18.

We'll have more on both of these players soon, as well as interviews and updates on the recent flood of Mountaineer recruits.

We're also working on our complete roundup of all of WVU's signees, which will be available in future editions of the Blue & Gold News.
