Georgetown Quick Recap

Georgetown used a punishing interior attack and a ridiculous advantage at the foul line to defeat West Virginia 82-77 on Saturday.

WVU (1-7 8-12) had few answers for the pwerful inside game of the Hoyas, as both Mike Sweentey and Wesley Wilson recorded double doubles for Georgetown (5-4, 14-7).

Chris Moss was West Virginia's leading scorer with 20 points, but he was often outmanned in the lane by the Hoya frontcourt.

Georgetown piled up a 33-5 scoring advantage from the free throw line, and was led by Sweetney's 27 points.
