Player of the Game - Seton Hall

Joe Herber battled mightily in WVU's disappointing loss to Seton Hall on Saturday.

After West Virginia fell behind in a dismal first half, Herber took matters into his own hands to help his team climb back into the contest. The aggressive junior repeatedly drove the ball to the basket, drawing contact and putting the Pirates into foul trouble. Herber scored four of his game high 13 points from the free throw line, and also got the WVU offense into gear with his forays to the basket. After scoring just 17 points in the first half, the Mountaineers scored 46 in the second.

Herber played his usual all-around game, snaring eight rebounds, recording two steals and dishing out three assists. He had just one turnover in 37 minutes of action.
