Preseason Honors For Recruiting Targets

Several West Virginia recruiting targets have earned a spot on the Reebok Mid Atlantic Preseason Offensive All-America Team.

The squad, which is composed of players from Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, D.C., inlcudes several players who have been offered scholarships by or are considering the Mountaineers.

Wide receiver Chris Fulmer, who stands just 59 catches short of the national high school receiver record, is one of the top selections on the team. He has 244 career receptions to date.

Joining Fulmer on the list are running back/linebacker LeSean McCoy, who has more than 50 offers, and tight end/wide receiver Nate Byham, who has likewise racked up numerous offers in both football and basketball.

At least two Mountaineer recruiting targets on the offensive line made the list. WVU will sign at least three, and possibly four, linemen in this class, and they could make a great start by getting either Lou Eliades or Sam Burrows. Eliades is the top lineman in New Jersey, while Burrows earned Delaware lineman of the year honors as a junior.
