The theme of the day for WVU's alumni in the NFL was special teams.

Class of 1999
For the second week in a row, Anthony was not part of the passing game, but helped paved the way for 110 yards on the ground in a huge win over division rival Carolina.

Cincinnati stayed mostly on the ground on the way to 185 yards in a win over the Browns.

Antonio Brown Wide Receiver

Antonio came back onto the scene in a big way this weekend. He fielded three kick returns for an average of 45 yards, but it was his 91 yard scamper for a touchdown that was the difference in a Skins win.

The Chiefs gave up another big ground game, yielding 129 yards on the ground in the loss to Dallas. John was active, recording 2 tackles and a sack of Drew Bledsoe in the loss.

Reports out of St. Louis still have Marc as questionable for returning to the Rams lineup anytime soon. According to Marc himself, he will not return until he is 100%.

Detroit's defense played well, but it wasn't enough for the offense to capitalize. The Lions did give up 181 rushing yards. Dirty had two tackles in the game. He also recovered a Brett Favre fumble that led to a 6-0 Detroit lead.

Class of 2004
Pac was big in the Tennessee win, finding himself all over the field. Jones filled the stat sheet with 8 tackles and a pass breakup on defense. In addition, he returned a kickoff for 16 yards, and had three punt returns for a 27 yard average. It was his 52 yard punt return for a touchdown in the 2nd half that knotted the game up at 10, and swung momentum in the Titans' favor.

Antwan had another solid game. He had one tackle, and a sack of Aaron Brooks. Atlanta's defense gave up 110 yards on the ground in the first half, but gave up just 15 yards on six carries in the second half.

Jerry was the lone bright spot in Oakland's horrendous loss to the Jets. JP caught 4 passes for just 36 yards, but that included a 20 yard touchdown pass. Jerry briefly fumbled the catch, but quickly jumped on it in the endzone for the score.

Sauerbrun was put to use, punting 5 times this weekend. He averaged just 35.6 yards per punt, but did record a touchback, and twice pinned the Ravens inside their own 20 yard line.
