Culmer St. Jean of Lely High in Naples, Fla. stars on Friday nights for his team as its quarterback. However the 6-foot-1, 215 pound, athlete expects to play defense in college.
"Most schools are recruiting me as a linebacker/strong safety type of player," St. Jean said.
St. Jean took and official visit to West Virginia last weekend. The trip to Morgantown was his second of three scheduled visits.
"I visited Minnesota back on (12/2) and I go to Wisconsin this weekend (12/16). I have offers from those three and Central Florida, Indiana, Troy State, Florida Atlantic, and a bunch of others. Iowa just got my film and they said they'd let me know this week if they were going to offer."
St. Jean had a great time on his West Virginia visit.
"I was hosted by Jahmile Addae he was cool. I liked it a lot up there we had a great time. The school was great and the program is on the rise. I'd say it was a good visit. I really enjoyed their academic presentation."
St. Jean was born in Nassau, Bahamas and his family moved to Florida when he was two years old. Both of his parents are from Haiti.
