Biggs Selected For Leadership Conference

WVU pitcher Billy Biggs has been selected to participate in the sixth annual NCAA Foundation Leadership Conference.

Biggs, one of only 300 athletes nationwide who were selected, was picked from more than 1000 candidates who participate in the NCAA's CHAMPS/Life Skills Program.

The mission on the Conference is to provide a group of the nation's top student-athletes the opportunity to participate in activites that will enable them to become better leaders on their campuses and in their communities.

Biggs went 7-7 for the Mountaineers in the just completed season, and allowed an opponent batting average of just under .250. He struck out 74 batters and tied a WVU single-season record with 10 complete games.
