"I called coach Bill (Kirelawich) tonight and I told him I am ready to be a Mountaineer, Robinson said. "I didn't get to talk to Rich Rodriguez yet, I think they are coming to the school in two weeks.
Robinson, admits his family wanted him to pull the trigger and commit back when he took his unofficial visit. Robinson wanted to visit UConn first.
"Me and my mom have been talking about it for the last two weeks, between WVU and UConn," he said. "Both schools were very even, but I felt WVU had a better strength and conditioning program. I just felt at home there, more so than any other school I visited.
"I just called Steve (Slaton) tonight," Robinson explained. "he was happy and wants me to come down this summer and check it out." The Philadelphia, Pa., native is arguably the top corner in the state and one of the best on the East Coast. He chose West Virginia over offers from UConn and Temple.
