The Big East Conference has determined the home and away league schedule of opponents for the 2006-07 women's basketball season, as announced by the conference office.
The format for league play will be a 16-game schedule. Each team will play 16 conference games - seven opponents home only, seven opponents away only and one opponent both home and away, a repeat opponent. Each member will have a total of eight home and eight away games. The conference has opted to maintain the same repeat opponents for an additional season.
West Virginia's repeat opponent will be Villanova - a conference foe that has bedeviled the Mountaineers in recent seasons.
WVU will host Cincinnati, Connecticut, Providence, St. John's, Seton Hall, South Florida and Syracuse. The Mountaineers will travel to DePaul, Georgetown, Lousiville, Marquette, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh and Rutgers.
Times and dates for the games will be announced later this year.
