Second Draftee

Senior outfield Stan Posluszny was picked in the 34th round by the Seattle Mariners on Day Two of the Major League Baseball draft on Wednesday. It was the second year the Pennsylvania native has been tabbed in the draft.

Two years ago, Posluszny, who holds the school record with 174 RBI, was drafted by the Anaheim Angels in the 21st round.

Posluszny had the best hitting year of his career as a senior, batting .332 with 10 home runs and 60 RBI. He recorded 23 walks and had a .543 slugging percentage while starting all 56 games this year.
