Hogan Makes Seven

Just days after a camp visit to West Virginia, quarterback/athlete Brandon Hogan decided that the WVU program was the place to be. The Osbourn High School star has chosen the Mountaineers over a host of other schools, according to published reports, and will sign with West Virginia next February.

Following the camp, Hogan said that WVU was at the top of his list, but that he was still considering other schools, including Tennessee, Clemson, Maryland and Virginia Tech. That changed quickly this week, however, as Hogan picked West Virginia over the ACC and SEC competitors.

Hogan (5-11, 170 lbs., 4.4) is the second outstanding Virginia quarterback to commit to WVU this spring. Orange County's Bradley Starks, the first team All Group AA quarterback as a junior, previously pledged WVU.

Hogan, who matched Starks' achievement by being named first-team All-Group AAA quarterback, had a combined 3,183 yards and 36 touchdowns as a junior. Of that total, 2,045 yards and 18 of the scores came through the air.
