East Hot 100 OL Makes a Commitment

Gino Gradkowski is an offensive line prospect from Seton LaSalle High School in Pennsylvania. Gradkowski had narrowed his choices to West Virginia and Pittsburgh. After Visiting West Virginia yesterday and Pittsburgh today, the East Hot 100 Offensive Lineman has made a commitment.

"After I left Pittsburgh today," said Gradkowski, "I sat down with my family and thought about it. I drove down to Morgantown with my family, and I committed to West Virginia. I committed to Coach Rick Trickett and told him I was looking forward to playing for him.

"When I was down in Morgantown, they were finishing up their 7v7, and I got to talk to coach Rodriquez. I love both schools; I have friends and family at both. I just thought that West Virginia had more of a college atmosphere."

Knowing that he had two great choices in front of him, it made it hard for Gradkowski to choose between his favorites.

"As late as this afternoon I was still battling back and forth. I had a good relationship with the coaches at Pitt like Greg Gattuso and Paul Dunn. My neighbor and best friend Chris Jacobsen is already a Pitt commitment. Both were great choices, but I had a gut feeling that told me I should be a Mountaineer."

And a Mountaineer he is.
