The highlights from Cunningham's senior film are impressive. The 6-2 junior snared 41 passes for more than 700 yards and 15 scores last year, which put him on all-conference and all-district teams. He also earned honorable mention all-Ohio notice, and is primed for even bigger things this year.
Part of the reason for Cunningham's relatively low profile is his light body of work this summer. He attended a Nike camp at Ohio State and is scheduled for Michigan State's camp this week, but other than that has not put in appearances at any other camps. He has yet to visit West Virginia, although he did say he would be very interested in the Mountaineers should they offer. Michigan State, Kentucky and Maryland have also been showing interest in the Westerville, Ohio native.
Cunningham has mapped out the qualities he is looking for in a school, and says that an offer from a school such as WVU would influence his thinking.
"The academics and nice facilities are important, and of course the athletic program," Cunningham said as he listed the things he will evaluate in making his choice. "The coaches and the relationship with them is important, and the social part of the school too.
"I would have to lay them out to see which one has what I want," he continued as he weighed the effects an offer from a top tier BCS school would have. "An offer from them would have a big effect."
Cunningham, who now checks in at 190 pounds, has the frame to create space for himself. He uses his body nicely to create space, and attacks the ball in the air well.
"I'm not afraid to go across the middle either," he added.

As of now, Cunningham plans to take his official visits before making his decision. He will also play either safety or cornerback for Westerville this year.
