Kevin Pittsnogle has completed his stint with the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Summer League's Rocky Mountain Revue. The West Virginia native averaged 6.5 points in four outings with the NBA runner-up's entry in the league.
Pittsnogle saw 70 minutes of action for the Mavericks, making six of his 14 three-point attempts (40.9%). He had 10 rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks as he battled several other big men, including Pops Mensah-Bonsu
and Pavel Podkolzin
Dallas finished 3-3 in the league.
Pittsnogle hopes that his performance will be enough to warrnat a free agent contract from either the Mavericks or the Miami Heat, the team he played for in the Pepsi Pro Summer League in Orlando, but it's just as likely that he could end up heading overseas for a year or two of seasoning before getting a shot at the NBA.
