Syracuse, Cincinnati ticket sales suspended

Single game tickets for West Virginia's home football games on Saturday, October 14, vs. Syracuse and Saturday, November 11, vs. Cincinnati have been suspended, the WVU ticket office announced.

That brings to four the number of sold-out home games. Tickets are still available for home games against Eastern Washington (Sept. 9), South Florida (Nov. 25) and the season finale' against Rutgers on Dec. 2. To purchase remaining tickets, fans can call 1-800-WVU GAME or visit

Single game tickets for the available home contests are $35 each. Fans are encouraged to do so as soon as possible, because tickets are very limited. Season ticket sales are likely to reach approximately 40,000.

West Virginia, 11-1 last year and coming off a Big East and Sugar Bowl championship, will likely achieve its highest preseason ranking ever when the polls are released.
