WVU Alumni NFL Update - Week 9

It was something of a slow week for Mountaineers in the NFL.

#88 Anthony Becht Tight End
Class of 1999
Tampa Bay once again failed to find much of an offense, managing just 14 points in the loss to New Orleans. Anthony was shut out in the passing game, a rare occurrence this season.
This Week: L, 31-14 New Orleans Record: 2-6
Next Week: @ Carolina

#74 Rich Braham Offensive Lineman
Class of 1993
Rich was inactive and the Bengals managed fewer than 100 yards, which appears to be a recurring theme without Braham on the offensive line.
This Week: L, 26-20 Baltimore Record: 4-4
Next Week: SAN DIEGO

#93 John Browning Defensive Lineman
Class of 1995
John has been placed on Injured Reserve with a strained back and will not play in the 2006 season.

Next Week: @ Miami

#10 Marc Bulger Quarterback
Class of 1999
Marc moved the ball up and down the field, but the Rams failed to punch it enough in the losing effort to Kansas City. Bulger completed 31 of 42 passes for 354 yards and a touchdown. Marc also ran twice for 11 yards, and coughed up a fumble on one of his two sacks.

#84 Jerry Porter Wide Receiver
Class of 1999
Well, technically Jerry did play in the Raiders loss to Seattle, but Andrew Walter had a difficult time finding the wide receiver, as he spent the majority of the night on his back. Porter was held without a catch and rarely had the ball thrown his way in the shutout.

#97 John Thornton Defensive Lineman
Class of 1998
