Wiley recorded seven tackles, including three behind the line for nine yards in losses, and broke up a third down pass to force a punt.
Wiley capped his outstanding performance by picking off a pass across the middle with a spectacular grab.
"The quarterback never saw me," WIley said of the pick. "He rolled a little to his left, and I came from the back side."
Offensively, a host of candidates reared their head in WVU's 560 yard performance, but Cassel Smith's performance at superback earns the nod.
Smith gained 95 yards on only 9 carries, which was good for a 10.4 average. Smith also made the hustle play of the game by recovering a Danny Embick fumble and carrying it 43 yards for a score.
