Jenkins, White Earn Big East Honors

A pair of Mountaineers made the all-Big East baseball team following WVU's 29-22 season.

Outfielders Justin Jenkins and Adam White, the leading hitters on the Mountaineer squad, made the all-league squad. Jenkins, a senior, was a first team pick, while White, a sophomore, garnered a spot on the third team.

Jenkins finished the season with a .372 average. He collected 80 hits, with 35 of those going for extra bases. His 11 home runs tied him for the team lead with Jordon Yost, and his 48 RBI were second only to Tyler Kuhn's. He also had 10 steals in 13 attempts.

White was close behind Jenkins in productivity and value. His 77 hits were good for a .365 batting average (both second on the team) and he had 11 steals in 16 attempts. White was also flawless in the field, finishing the season without an error.
