West Virginia linebacker Leandre Washington was cleared of all charges by a Monongalia County magistrate on Friday afternoon.
The magistrate found no cause to continue the case against Washington, who was accused, along with freshman defensive back Adam Jones, of assault in a fight that occurred in August.
The charges against Jones were bound over to the next session of the Grand Jury, which meets in October.
West Virginia head coach Rich Rodriguez has already handed down discipline in the case. He has not said whether or not further in-house discipline will be issued.
