Players of the Game - Syracuse

A pair of players who have overcome recent struggles are our picks for players of the game.

Offensively, Rasheed Marshall had an excellent day in the light rain that fell for much of the afternoon. The sophomore quarterback was 8-16 for 105 yards passing and one score. He added 54 yards on 11 rushes and another two touchdowns on the ground.

Angel Estrada
On defense, safety Angel Estrada had a monster day. Estrada had three tackles for losses and a sack, and had nine tackles (eight solo) against the multi-formationed Syracuse offense.

Estrada, who played the bandit position against the Orangemen after splitting time at the spur last week, put on a textbook exhibition of tackling in the open field.
