Estrada Earns Big East Honors

WVU safety Angel Estrada earned Big East co-defensive player of the week honors for his performance against Syracuse.

Estrada led the Mountaineer defense with 14 tackles, including eight solo stops, in the win over the Orangemen. He had three tackles behind the line of scrimmage for losses totalling 13 yards, and also had two sacks for another ten yards in losses.

Estrada helped the Mountaineer defense hold Syracuse to 242 yards of total offense, which is a season low for the Orangemen.

Estrada shared the award with Temple's Dan Klecko, who had four sacks in the Owls' win over UConn.
