Smalligan, who missed WVU's trip to the NCAAs two years ago while sitting out the season as a transfer, was a big part of the Mountaineers' NIT championship last year. However, the fact that he missed the Big Dance has always been a burr under his saddle. Before WVU's final shootaround on Wednesday, Smalligan shared his thoughts and motivation for playing well in the final event of his college career.
